SMC³ Quick Takes provides bite-sized logistics learning
Authored by SMC³ on October 26, 2020
Supply chain education is one of the core goals of SMC³, a company with a long history of nurturing the logistics learning process. During the coronavirus pandemic, SMC³ has reexamined all of its educational offerings, focusing on how to deliver fresh, engaging content to a remote supply chain industry.
Since virtual education is the name of the game these days, SMC³ is now providing a weekly bit of bite-sized supply chain education, covering topics that will be explored in more detail during the logistics technology company’s semi-yearly conferences and LTL education courses.
“Quick Takes” begins this week on the SMC³ YouTube channel. The first episode is included below.
The YouTube series brings together respected logistics leaders to talk about supply chain trends, the intricacies of less than truckload transportation and more. The first episode features Mark Davis, vice president of pricing and traffic for Averitt Express, discussing how in-cab technology streamlines the bill of lading process and subsequent two-minute episodes will include representatives from the NAFTA, The Home Depot, Pitt Ohio and more.
To explore “Quick Takes” topics in more detail, register for the Jump Start 2021 virtual supply chain conference. Learn about SMC³’s other offerings on the logistics education section of our website.
